Thriptis Kitchen ...... visited this Kerala Restaurant today ... i am so happy that they offered truly authentic Kerala style food ... it s been years together , i have dined true Kerala food ... i had typical kerala lunch during ninetees ... later on , i had opportunity to dine at places like Ente Keralam etc in Chennai .... but never had this authentic feel .... Usually typical vegetarian Kerala food used to be light with out affecting the tummy .... the ambiance of the place was cool ... it was not crowded , when i went for the lunch ... the water was typical warm water offered in kerala restaurants ....i was offered Kerala Red Rice one bowl ... and one plate full of pickle , poriyal , thuvaiyal , and a stuff called Semmanthi , ...it was with a small piece of appalam and semia payasam ........ believe me this is unlimited .... they offered me the second servings of the thuvaiyal , poriyal etc ..... to add with rice , they gave Sambhar which was light , avial , mor kulambu and rasam ..... all blended beautifully with Red Rice ... I literally enjoyed the Rice , sambhar , rasam etc .... Morkulambu was truly homely .... i completed the lunch with fullest satisfaction ... believe me ...the price is just 80 Rs ..........this is at Venkitasamy road , in RS Puram .... bit inside the DB Road of RS Puram .... this venkitasamy road is the cutting near Rajasthani Sangh ....
